J.Crew unveiled their Fall 2012 line at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week back in February. These are a few of my favorite ensembles from the vintage inspired collection.
What stood out for me most in the look up top was the jacket. I love the toggle enclosure and the contrast of the white rope on the dark navy jacket. The wooden toggles are a nice detail that really complete the vintage vibe of this piece of the collection. The cuffed slim cut jeans over the purple socks are a chic finish to this ensemble.
While colored pants are usually saved for the spring and summer collections of the fashion world. It really completes the look above. While the coat isn’t anything I’m especially excited about I love the look of these cuffed pants with the suede shoes and burgundy socks.
The cardigan and shirt combination in this ensemble really caught my eye as I was browsing through these looks. The tie really completes the ensemble and cuffed denim makes another appearance. I love the pop of color the socks bring to this monochromatic look.
I’m liking the, what seems to be velvet, double breasted peacoat in this look. I’m not sure of the actual material we’ll find out when the collection is released.
The navy blazer of this heather gray hoodie is a really chic look. The stone cuffed pants bring the look full circle. I could live without the scarf though.
This blazer inspired cardigan completes my final favorite ensemble from this collection. The dark blue button up and gray tie really adds a nice contrast to this look. The shoes are a bit shiny for my taste though.
